Sell properly online
Product pages, checkout and payments that work on a phone at eleven at night, which is when people actually buy.
Drawn around what you sell and who buys it, not lifted from a theme. A designer you can actually speak to, and one fixed price agreed before anything starts.
One fixed figure agreed up front. Nothing to pay until you have seen it working.
Not ready for a call? Ask a question instead.
What we do
The same list an expensive agency works through, in the same order: strategy, custom design, proper build, search, conversion and copy. Done by one designer with no office, no sales team and no account manager to pay for.
Custom websites
Every layout is drawn around what you sell and who buys it. Fast, accessible, and built so the words, the structure and the design pull in the same direction.
Brand and identity
Logo, colour, type and the rules that hold it together, then applied consistently everywhere the business shows up. No chasing three suppliers and hoping the greens match.
Product pages, checkout and payments that work on a phone at eleven at night, which is when people actually buy.
One page, one job, measured. Built for the ad spend you are already making so it stops leaking.
Structure, speed, schema and keyword-led copy as standard, not sold back to you as an upgrade in month six.
Written for the person reading and the engine indexing. Your services, your area and your proof, in plain English.
Analytics, call and form tracking and a plain monthly read on what came in, so the site is judged on results rather than opinions.
Changes, hosting, security and backups handled month to month. No ticket queue, no account manager in between.
A designer replies within 48 hours with a fixed price.
How it works
No discovery workshops, no six-week onboarding, no account manager relaying messages between you and the person doing the work.
Use the form or send an email. What you do, who buys from you, and what the website needs to bring in. Five minutes is plenty.
A designer, not a salesperson. We work out what you actually need, then send one fixed price and one delivery date in writing. If we are not right for you, we will say so.
You see it working before you pay. Then it goes live, every login is handed over, and we stay on hand for whatever comes next.
Five minutes to tell us. Forty eight hours to a real answer.
Why CDF
The market gives you two bad options: do it yourself in a drag-and-drop tool and hope, or pay five figures and wait three months. We built the middle.
Straight up
No account manager, no brief handed down a chain. The designer you speak to on the phone is the one drawing your site.
Your project gets proper attention and a start date measured in days, rather than a slot in a queue behind fourteen other jobs.
A new agency gets judged on its first projects. That is a plain reason to do yours properly, and it is the only reason to act now we are willing to give you.
What we cannot show you is a wall of client logos or a page of five star reviews, because we have not earned them under this name yet. So judge us on the mechanism instead: one fixed figure in writing before anything starts, nothing to pay until you have seen the site working, and the domain and every login in your name.
Free website review
Give us the address. A designer opens it properly, on a phone and on a desktop, and writes back with what is already working, where the easy growth is, and what we would do first. Often that is a few changes rather than a rebuild, and if your site is doing its job we will tell you that too.
One field to start. We only need a name and an email to send the review to.
The five second test. Whether a stranger can tell what you do, where you work and how to get hold of you.
How long the page takes to become useful on mobile data, and which single thing is holding it up.
We fill your own form in and see where it lands. A form nobody has tested since launch is commoner than you would think.
Page titles, structure and whether the words on the page match what your customers actually type in.
Who the domain is registered to and whether you could move the site tomorrow if you wanted to. Check it yourself in ten minutes.
Security
An out of date site is the easiest target on the internet. Old plugins, expired certificates, no backups and nobody watching. We build on modern, maintained foundations and keep them that way, so your website stays an asset rather than turning into a liability nobody noticed.
We will tell you if your setup is already sound.
Every site ships with a valid certificate that renews itself. No expiry warnings scaring your customers off.
The single biggest cause of hacked business sites is software nobody updated. On a care plan, that is our job rather than yours.
Regular backups held off the server, so a bad day means restoring in minutes instead of rebuilding from scratch.
Spam filtering and bot protection as standard, so your enquiries stay real and your inbox stays usable.
Consent, privacy policy and data handling set up correctly on every form we build, because enquiries are personal data.
Domain in your name, every login handed to you. Nothing of yours is locked inside our account, ever.
Pricing
What yours costs depends on what it has to do, so we quote it properly rather than guessing on a pricing page. One figure, one date, in writing, before anything starts.
Starting at
£470+VAT is where a small custom site starts, not what every project costs. That list is what every build includes at any price.
The starting point for a custom-designed, custom-built website. Larger projects are quoted the same way: one number, agreed up front, and it only moves if you ask for something outside what was agreed.
The quote is free and there is no obligation once you have it.
Sectors
Every trade sells differently, so every site has to do a different job. A roofer needs a phone number under a thumb at seven in the morning. A solicitor needs the pricing page the regulator asks for. Here is what the same approach looks like in each.
Electricians, plumbers, builders, roofers and heating engineers. Click to call, a quote form worth filling in, and a page for every area you cover.
Accountants, bookkeepers and tax advisers. Fee guidance on the page, a page for each specialism, and deadline pages live before the season starts.
Manufacturers, engineering firms and industrial suppliers. Capability, tolerances and approvals up front, and an enquiry form you can actually quote from.
Aesthetics, dental, physiotherapy and beauty. Booking, deposits and a page for each treatment, set up only where they earn their keep.
Solicitors, conveyancers and small law firms. SRA transparency pages built properly, a page for each area of law, and enquiries sorted by matter.
Cafés, restaurants, pubs, takeaways and caterers. A menu that works on a phone, hours people can trust, and a Google profile that pulls its weight.
Your trade not on the list? It makes no difference to the price or the process. Tell us what you do and we will work out what your site has to achieve, the same way we would for any of these.
Before you commission anything
Written to be useful whether you hire us or not. No sign up, no email gate, and each one tells you plainly when the answer is to spend nothing at all.
Real prices from £470 to £25,000, the seven things that move a quote, what you should expect to get under £1,000, and how to compare two quotes fairly when they look nothing alike.

FAQs
Websites start at £470 plus VAT. What yours costs depends on what it has to do. Tell us about the business and you get one fixed figure in writing before anything starts, and that figure does not change unless you ask for something outside what was agreed, in which case you get the new figure before any of it is done.

No. Every site is designed from scratch around your business, your customers and what you need it to achieve. We do not resell themes and we do not drop your logo into somebody else's layout.
Within 48 hours. Tell us about your business through the form or send an email, and a real person calls you back inside two working days. No chatbot, no automated nurture sequence.
Yes, as standard. Technical structure, page speed, semantic markup, structured data, sitemaps and keyword-led copy are built in from the first page rather than sold back to you as an upgrade later.
We ask what one new customer is actually worth to you in profit, then work out how many the site has to bring in before it has paid for itself. Usually that is a small number and it settles the budget argument in one conversation. Before the build we agree the single thing the site is for, whether that is quote requests, bookings or applications, and everything on the page is ordered around it. Call tracking and form tracking go on at launch, so at the end of month one you are reading a count rather than an opinion.
You do. The domain is registered in your name and every login is handed over when the site goes live. You can take it anywhere, at any time, and we will help you move it.
Seven checks to work out who owns the site you already have.
Yes. We take work from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Everything is handled by phone, email and video, so your location makes no difference to the price or the timescale.
A small site takes two to four weeks from the go ahead, depending on size. You get one delivery date in writing with the quote, and we hold that date provided content and sign-off come back when agreed. If anything moves it, you hear it from us the same day.
Yes, and we would rather do that than rebuild for the sake of it. We will look at what you have and tell you honestly whether it needs rebuilding or just fixing. If a few hours of work would sort it, we will say so rather than sell you a rebuild you do not need.
Eleven checks to run first if your site gets visitors but no enquiries, or ask us for a free review.
Yes. Copywriting is included on most projects. We write for the person reading and for search at the same time, using your services, your area and your actual proof rather than filler.
Every site ships with an auto-renewing HTTPS certificate, bot protection on forms and regular off-server backups. On a care plan we also keep the underlying software patched, which matters because out of date software is the most common reason business websites get compromised.
Enquiry forms collect personal data, so we set up consent, a privacy policy and correct data handling on every form we build. If you already have a site, we can review what it is collecting and tell you where the gaps are.
Brand identity, logos, ecommerce, campaign landing pages, copywriting, photography direction and ongoing search work all sit under one roof, so everything matches and nothing needs chasing across three suppliers.
Two boxes are all we need. A real person gets back to you within 48 hours, the way you ask them to, with a fixed price and a delivery date. No call unless you want one.
